Sacramento-Area Speakers Bureau:
A Resource for Associations and Businesses

Finding the right speaker for an event or series of programs can be difficult and time-consuming. To help relieve that frustration, members of the Institute of Management Consultants USA (IMC) in the greater Sacramento area in 1999 maintain a speakers bureau for companies and organizations.

Now in its fifth year, IMC member-speakers have presented to a wide variety of business audiences throughout the region. The 2004/05 directory of IMC speakers in the Greater Sacramento Area is available free of charge. Designed to be user-friendly, topics are organized under five general headings, making it easy to find the right presenter. General headings include:

• Coaching, training and leadership development
• Strategy and operations
• Human resources and administration
• Sales and marketing
• Technology and productivity

IMC speakers are seasoned business consultants who offer up-to-the-minute presentations, important insights, and practical tools for doing business more effectively, whether the issue is regulatory compliance, streamlining the sales process, or leveraging resources to survive a downturn or relieve growing pains.

IMC member-speakers have addressed audiences at the Executive's Assn. of Sacramento, Inc., Building Owner's and Manager's Assn., Sacramento Area Quality Assn., a Golden State Capital Conference, the Renaissance Forum, the Sacramento Bee's "Women's Day," and many other organizations and events.

IMC is the world's leading professional association for management consultants. Founded in 1968, the group sets standards for ethical behavior, provides member training, and oversees a rigorous certification program.
